Spring Forum

The 2008 Sullivan Renaissance Grant Program is now in its eighth season – with over 350 projects spread throughout all 15 towns and 6 villages of Sullivan County.

You do not have to be participating in a Sullivan Renaissance project in your community to become part of the “Renaissance” that is taking place in Sullivan County. Everyone can do something – it’s as easy as planting a garden, hanging a flower basket or painting your front porch!

Two-Part Workshop

Planning For Trees In Urban & Community Landscapes

This is a two-part workshop for planning and zoning boards and community tree enthusiasts. Part one will be led by Martt Arnn, Regional Landscape Architect with the USDA Forest Service, Northeast Area; and Part Two will be presented by Greg Dahle of Rutgers University School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, New Brunswick, NJ. The workshop will be held Wednesday, April 2 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the CVI Building in Ferndale, NY. Pre-Registration is required.
