Applications are due on Monday, March 17, 2008. Grants will be awarded on Thursday, March 27, 2008. At that time, communities will be given their Phase I check along with a project binder. The binder is an organizational tool, a place to document the project, fundraising efforts, youth involvement, before and after photos, and receipts. Note: receipts are mandatory and must be included and returned with the completed binder.

Additional support includes Renaissance Seminars, a Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce Merchant Discount card, an ornamental tree for Arbor Day, project mentoring and site visits, technical assistance, and resource guides.

Sullivan Renaissance Seminars

Renaissance Seminars help groups plan and develop their projects. Held approximately once a month, topics include: planning, starting new projects, volunteer recruitment, raising money, horticultural practices and application assistance.
